To support citizens before Eid al-Fitr, Egypt's social insurance authority brought forward April 2025 pension payments to March 25 and 26 instead of the beginning of the month.
In Alexandria, Egypt Post allocated 108 post offices across districts to facilitate payments and reduce congestion. Three mobile postal units also served areas including Street 45, the old Nozha Airport area and Sidi Bishr near Montaza Second District.
Pension payments were also made available through bank ATMs and digital wallets during working days and holidays, supporting the state's plan to improve pension services and provide greater convenience to beneficiaries.
The move came alongside preparations for a future pension increase, reflecting continued efforts to ease financial pressure on pensioners.
