Egypt Post announced an exceptional operating schedule for selected post offices during the Eid al-Adha 2025 holiday to help citizens access essential services while most branches are closed.
According to the announced schedule, regular post offices close on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 5-7, 2025. A selected group of offices resumes service on Sunday, June 8 and Monday, June 9, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The operating offices cover governorates across Egypt, including Greater Cairo, Alexandria, Giza, Upper Egypt, the Canal cities, Sinai and the Delta. The available services may include pension payments, money transfers, parcels and other basic postal services depending on each branch.
Citizens are advised to confirm the availability of the required service before visiting a branch, as some services may differ from one office to another during holiday schedules.
