Recent data related to Egypt Post showed that pension payments processed through the postal network reached around 5.29 million beneficiaries in February 2026, compared with about 5.07 million beneficiaries in February 2025. The figures highlight the continued reliance of many citizens on post offices for essential daily financial services.

According to the published data, the number of post offices in Egypt stood at around 4,645 by the end of February 2026, with branches continuing to provide payment, money transfer, postal, and financial services across different governorates.

The data also showed that instant domestic postal money transfers reached around 469,000 transactions in February 2026, which remains relevant for users who depend on Egypt Post services to send and receive money within Egypt, in addition to pension and postal account services.

These indicators underline why users need accurate information about the nearest post office, working hours, available services, and the correct Egyptian postal code before visiting a branch, especially during pension payment periods and peak service times.
